This Week’s PFLC Update

Upcoming PFLC Meeting

Please be sure to attend this upcoming PFLC meeting Thursday, Oct. 12, at 6 p.m.
We expect to discuss: followup from the technology discussion, playground update, volunteerism and more. We encourage you to attend and join in the discussion and be a part of this school community.

Toledo Buddy Walk

We are in need of volunteers to man the table at this upcoming Toledo Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome. If you would like to participate in the walk, sign up at http://www.ds-stride.org/toledobuddywalk under “TEAM KALLIE.”
Kallie is a 2-year-old young lady who is near and dear to iLEAD Spring Meadows’ community. She came to the school last year on National Down Syndrome Day and visited with the students and facilitators. Kallie was born with Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome) and since birth she has also been diagnosed with AVSD, peripheral pulmonary artery stenosi, hypoplasia of the left pulmonary artery, and much more. She has had 17 procedures since birth. This strong young lady has been through a lot in the short time that she has been here. She is a very bright, outgoing and lovable girl. Her smile can brighten your day – which is why iLEAD Spring Meadows is honored to help support her and this cause for awareness of Down Syndrome.
Please join us in making this a community event at the University of Toledo on Oct. 22 from noon to 4 p.m.
