Each week we will highlight a different activity that learners can participate in to show support and encourage regular attendance. “Stay in the Game!” network will be celebrating with Ohio schools, districts, communities and families. For the second week of attendance awareness month, we will be focusing on why attendance is important. Click on the Ohio Resources Guide To Reduce Chronic Absenteeism to learn more. Also, you can watch this YouTube Video – School attendance: A building block of student achievement.
Each learner is encouraged to sign an attendance pledge at school that will be posted in each of their learning spaces. Learners can sign the online pledge at home with your family members/caregivers.
