iLEAD Spring Meadows is getting ready for the 2019 Vision in Education Benefit Dinner, Saturday, May 11.
The Vision in Education Award recognizes a community leader who has made significant contributions to public education. This person has demonstrated extraordinary vision and dedication in supporting and expanding educational opportunities. It is expressly designed to honor those rare individuals who by visionary hard work and fearless leadership have forever positively impacted education. This could be demonstrated by creating new educational programs, giving selflessly to the community by championing issues and generally supporting education.
This year’s honoree is Erin Wiley, a clinical psychotherapist at, and the Executive Director of, The Willow Center, a counseling practice in Toledo, Ohio. She leads a team of twelve other therapists in their goal of meeting the counseling needs of the people and families of Northwest Ohio. The clinical focus of her therapy work is marriage and family, adolescents, parenting, and women’s issues.
In addition to the community honoree, the benefit dinner will also honor iLEAD Spring Meadows’ director Sarah Hawley with the Founders’ Vision Award, and there will be the presentation of the the Founders’ Family Vision Award.
