Dear iLEAD Spring Meadows families,
We are excited to see our new and returning learners on campus beginning Tuesday, August 24! We will be returning to in-person learning five days per week this year!
Please click below for our calendar, school supply lists, and Before and After Care information:
Our daily schedule for learners is Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Morning drop-off begins at 8:05 through the car line on the playground side of the building. Free breakfast is served to all learners from 8:05 AM to 8:30 AM.
Dismissal begins at 3:00 PM each Monday through Thursday and 1:00 PM each Friday; please use the car lines on both sides of the building. Learners in grades K-2 and their siblings are dismissed to the car line on the playground side of the building. Learners in grades 3-8 who do not have siblings in lower grade are dismissed on the opposite side of the building.
Attendance matters! We encourage you to make sure that your learner arrives on time and remains at school for the duration of the day. This helps your learner feel more comfortable, build social skills, and ensures they are not missing out on critical learning and growth. If you must drop your learner off after 8:30, please use the main entrance at the front of the building where your learner will be checked in and have their attendance marked as tardy. If you must pick your learner up prior to 3:00, please contact the front office 15 minutes prior to arrival. Please note that the front office is closed from 2:50-3:15 to help facilitate a safe and efficient dismissal. All early dismissal must be completed prior to 2:50.
At this time, use of face masks is optional for learners and staff. The Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Department of Education along with the CDC have recommended that unvaccinated staff and learners wear face masks while inside the building. However, the school will not be collecting data or monitoring the use of face masks.
Visitors During School Days
In order to limit exposure to COVID-19 within the school, visitors to the school must make an appointment in advance with the school director or designated office staff prior to entering the building. Outside of extenuating circumstances, building access will be limited to the front office.
Visitors to the school if unvaccinated should follow the ODE and ODH recommendation to wear a face mask that covers the nose, mouth, and chin.
The school reserves the right to conduct health evaluations, including temperature checks, at the school building before a person enters the school
All school visitors must confirm, upon entrance, that none of the following apply:
Currently experiencing active COVID-19 symptoms as defined by the CDC.
Has been instructed to quarantine by a local or state health department.
Has traveled to a location outside the state with active community spread of COVID-19.
Has been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
We are excited to continue community activities this year. In order to maintain health and safety, the school will organize all on-site events with social distancing and all safety protocols in place. This may include limited numbers on campus at a time, staggered event schedules, outdoor events when possible, and other precautions as needed.
Tuesday, August 17: Kindergarten and New Family Orientation
Please join us for a brief orientation for your learner to see the building and be introduced to basic building procedures. To assist with social distancing, we ask that only newly enrolled learners and their guardians attend this event.
Thursday, August 19: Meet Your Facilitator Night
At Meet Your Facilitator Night, your learner will be able to see their learning space, meet their facilitator, drop off school supplies, receive contact information, review their daily schedule and get a glimpse of the exciting year ahead!
