Important Virtual Learning Update for March 2021

iLEAD Spring Meadows campus building entrance

Dear iLEAD Spring Meadows Families,

We have successfully moved learners in grades K-3 on site five days per week and are ready to begin Phase 2. After Spring Break, we will move learners in hybrid classes from two days per week to four days per week. Hybrid learners in grades 4-8 will be on site Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. All learners in grades 4-8 will remain virtual on Wednesdays, and virtual schedules will remain intact for all virtual learners. Please see below for the rollout iLEAD Spring Meadows has followed to successfully bring learners on site.

Phase 1

On January 19, 2021, we were able to successfully bring our hybrid cohorts for grades K-3 back on campus without seeing an influx of positive COVID-19 cases or quarantines. Additionally, we have created on-site cohorts for learners in grades 4-8 who need more intensive support.

Phase 1B

On Monday, March 8, hybrid cohorts for grades 4-8 returned to on-site learning two days per week.

Phase 2: Current Phase

On Monday, April 12, 2021, hybrid learners in grades 4-8 will increase their days on site from two to four days per week. Hybrid learners in grades 4-8 will be on site Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

  • There will be no change for learners who have selected the full-time virtual option.
  • For operational purposes while a virtual learning option remains, all learners will remain virtual on Wednesdays.
  • Phase 2 dates are tentative. Additional details will be provided in the coming weeks.
  • Seats will be offered to learners in all-virtual cohorts as they become available.
  • Our COVID-19 Visitor Policy, quarantine procedures, health screenings, temperature checks, social distancing, and mandatory face-covering requirements will remain in place per ODE and CDC.

Thank you for your ongoing support and flexibility as we navigate this very challenging time together. We are hopeful that we will be able to maintain learners on campus for the remainder of the school year. Please continue to check our website for updates and other COVID-related information, including our school’s current quarantine and isolation numbers. We will continue to notify families directly if there are any positive cases on site or classes being quarantined. Please be sure that your contact information is updated in SchoolMint in order to receive the most up-to-date information.

Sincerely,

Ms. Sarah Hawley
School Director, iLEAD Spring Meadows
