An annual iLEAD tradition is the Halloween parade! We value the fun and memories that are made during this exciting event!
What: Learners and staff will and parade through the school and outside, so that parents and fellow classmates can view the variety of costumes! The route and parent viewing area is still being determined by staff.
When: Friday, Oct. 27, from 12:40 to 1 p.m.
Who: Learners and families
Costume Norms: Learners are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes to school on this day only.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all learners from kindergarten to eighth grade, we have established the following norms:
Where: Parents who wish to view the parade should park their car in the school lot and wait along the grass where the flag poles are. Please be in place by 12:30 so we can begin on time.
The parade route starts from inside the school so that children can see each other’s costumes. Ms. Sarah will lead the parade outside the building, and along the parent viewing area. The learners will parade along the sidewalk on Timberwolf so that Children’s Discovery Center and our business neighbors may view the parade if they wish. Facilitators and staff will be walking with the learners during this time.
Lunch times will be slightly modified so we can begin the parade on time.
1 p.m. Dismissal Procedure: Parents who will be parked for the parade can enter the building and pick up their children from either the Village (Kindergarten & first grade pickup area) or the west side of the building (2nd-8th grade pickup area). Please have your pickup sign with you and notify your learner’s facilitator that you are taking your child before you leave. Facilitators will be documenting how and when learners are leaving with their parent/guardian.
Parents who will not be viewing the parade and will be using the regular pick-up route in their car will follow the same procedure as normal.
Learners who are in After School Care will gather in the Village as normal. Parents will pick them up from there when they arrive.
Annual School Pictures will be Friday, October 15th. Retakes will be on Friday, November 19th. Please see flyer below for more details.
Harvest Festival will be Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 4-7 pm with a rain date of Saturday November 6, 2021. If you are interested
