All-Virtual Learning through January 15

Dear iLEAD Spring Meadows Families,

As we move into Fall Break, I want to provide a brief follow-up to our announcement on Tuesday that we will be going all virtual through January 15, 2021.

On Monday, November 23, 2020, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, we will have meal pick-up available for those who signed up. Please use the car line on the playground side of the building to pick up meals for your learners.

If you are interested in receiving meals during virtual learning and Winter Break, please complete this Meal Sign-Up Form so that we can be prepared to serve the families who would like them. During our instructional weeks while we are virtual, November 30, 2020, through January 15, 2021, we will have meal pick-up on Wednesdays from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. During this window, you will also be able to pick up work packets to accompany your online learning and return completed work that you are not able to submit through PowerSchool. Please contact the school if you need additional support or a different time to pick up.

Each facilitator will be including their virtual schedule in their weekly email today. Please reach out to your learner’s facilitator if you have any questions or need specific accommodations for your learner to be successful during distance learning. Virtual schedules, contact information, instructional materials, and learner assignments will all also be available in PowerSchool. During distance learning days, your learners should be logging in to both Zoom and PowerSchool daily.

Over Fall Break, we will be adding information about distance learning to our website. Please check back frequently for updates.

If your family is in need of technology to support learning at home, please email info@ileadspringmeadows.org

Social-emotional health reminder:

The social-emotional well-being of our learners is at the forefront of our decision-making. Our school counselors, Ms. Munoz and Ms. Bayus, will be accessible for all learners during these challenging times. You can reach them via email at lorena.munoz@ileadspringmeadows.org and jessica.bayus@ileadspringmeadows.org. Many of our families also receive additional support at iLEAD through the TACKLE program. Ms. Kim will continue to support learners on her caseload and take referrals as needs arise. She can be contacted at kwoodby@rfstackle.com or (419) 380-7400. Families not currently working with the TACKLE program can get connected by contacting Ms. Kim or notifying the school office.

Please continue to keep your family’s health and well-being as your top priority. We will get through this challenge together.

Sincerely,

Ms. Sarah Hawley
School Director, iLEAD Spring Meadows
